6 benefits of  doing a Detox:

  1. Spring clean your body!
Doing a detox gives the liver a rest and frees it up to do a clean out of residual toxins that have been building up.
  2. Improve fat metabolism and manage your weight more effectively!
One of the liver’s main functions is fat metabolism.  Allowing the liver to clean out and unload allows it be more efficient in this function, helping you to stay slim for the spring and summer.
  3. Get topped up!
With the sort of tailored detox consultation I offer, doing a detox is not just a clean out, but a chance to boost your vitamin and mineral stores where you may be lacking.
  4. Beat bad habits!
Doing a detox for 2 weeks means saying “no” to addictive habits which you secretly know may not be good for you, such as binge drinking, eating junk food, or smoking, and sets you up for better habits once the detox is over.
  5. Nurture your body!
Added benefits of detoxing include boosting your immune system, improved digestion, better energy, better sleep as well as anything else that you specifically want to tend to.
  6. Feel good about yourself!
Doing a detox is doing your body a favour.  You will have more energy, feel lighter and healthier.  You will have learned how to give your body a clean out and how to keep healthier habits.
